There are a number of Puzzle hunts accepting registrations now, including the granddaddy of them all the MIT Mystery Hunt which I have been solving (and once writing for) for 30 years now.
As part of the run up to that, long time puzzle writer/editor/solver Alex Rosenthal gave a TED talk about puzzle hunts in general and the MIT Mystery hunt in particular, that has an embedded puzzle in it. (https://www.ted.com/talks/alex_rosenthal_the_joyful_perplexing_world_of_puzzle_hunts). I thought that this would be of interest to those on this board.
And of course, if I am going to post on Puzzles, there has to be a puzzle with a giveaway. Its a really quick one this week, and it is here.
