As you may or may not know, there's another horrible minigame attached to the current Steam sales. Unlike previous events, this one actually gives you a chance to win a game! If you haven't read the rules, let me summarize them for you:
Since every one who plays even once enters, I estimate your chance of actually winning anything about
1 in a few 100,000. It's much, much worse than any chance you'd get on SteamGifts, in any case.OK, so it's probably about the same odds as a popular public GA on SteamGifts, since they're doing 100 copies of every game (I'm still expecting on the order of 100,000 entrants per planet, although that number is made up based on Steam subscriber activity and I don't know how many people are actually playing).I don't think that's fun.
