Dear friends and fellow gamers,
Yes there is a tl;dr at the bottom and train link.
This year the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Bond University have teamed up with the registered Australian charity GGC Vietnam to raise money for children with developmental disabilities in local communities within Da Nang, Vietnam.
My classmates and I are in the process of organizing several fundraising efforts to buy much needed therapy equipment and resources to assist these children and their families. Every resource that we are able to afford will be implemented and personally distributed by our team when we travel to Vietnam in November (out of pocket). We're very excited to have an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of these children, many of whom have been orphaned due to disability, and have limited access to health, education and rehabilitation services in their own area.
Here is a video outlining our efforts,

At request of mods, I've moved the link to the mycause website that has information about our efforts to my steam profile page:

Tl;dr: My classmates and I are trying to help orphaned children with disabilities in Vietnam.
There are many worthwhile causes out there, If I've encouraged at least one person to take action I'd consider myself successful
