Here's a little more explanation for where you put the code. When you click the hyperlink in the title, the url is going to https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/BrGwNAh but your url bar just says #BrGwNAh, that's just SG auto-folling urls like it does with giveaway titles and the like. You can get it by right clicking the url and clicking "copy link". Replace the BrGwNAh with dnPuumD and SG will redirect you completely to another thread. So the url is "https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/dnPuumD". NO FORWARD SLASH (that may be where you're getting errors as sg giveaway and discussions do end with a forward slash) and you can't put the code at the end of the blablablabla-title#BrGwNAh url either as steam gifts will only look in this thread for that ID and redirect you if successful. And then as twchiu explains, the second train is just that 7 letter combination but in reverse/backwards order as you're going "backwards" in the train

The problem is, I am dumb. I would never have tried that, because I didn’t understand anything to start with. If someone obfuscates things too much, my brain shuts down.

I am in trouble..., the 5 characters code can't satisfy me anymore.
Maybe 7 is the new magic number.
But the GA code is always 5 characters, where can this new code lead to?

The code is in the comment permalink! I'm sure you've used it before if you've ever received a message and wanted to reply.
The common mistake is to look at the URL after, not before, you click it.
if you mouse over the link it'll show go/comment/BrGwNAh
But if you check after the page is loaded it will be /blablablabla-title#BrGwNAh
After you pass the first check, you might find yourself in the middle of the train.
If you click Prev, you'll encounter a GA warning about going backward and an altered Prev link.
The altered link contains another 7-character code, which is the same as the first one, a comment permalink.
If you use the code directly, it won't work. However, if you notice you're heading backward, you might realize the code is also backward.
Simply reverse the code, and you're good to go.
