What to watch for Halloween?

More of a thriller, but I would suggest "The Others" with Nicole Kidman.
Another that is kinda similar is "White Noise" (2005).

I am gonna look through my salary lists from 2023 and then will consider what my future will be in 2024. That scares me as hell.

I'd recommend watching the entire Halloween series, except for:

• Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982) (it's actually not as bad as everyone says, but has nothing to do with Michael Myers)
• Halloween: Resurrection (2002) (despite having Jamie Lee Curtis in it - which she regretted, lol - it's absolute trash and feels like a bad, fan-made movie)
• the 2 unofficial Halloween movies that no one wanted, except for the creators (from 2007 and 2009)

A show I plan to watch is The Fall of the House of Usher to complement the director's previous works (A Haunting on Hill House, Midnight Mass, etc...)

On the movie side, I loved watching the Fear Street Trilogy (there is apparently more Fear Street films in the works)

My go-to horror THEMED movie is the 2004 Van Helsing film. Starrs Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale, it's got vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein's monster and so much more to put you in the spirit of Halloween. Not really scary, more of a dark fantasy action movie, but it's got a tonne of charm, atmosphere, some impressive visuals for the time, and a soundtrack that slaps way harder than it has any right to.

I'm watching a compiled 'best of' list of Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, plus the 3 Halloween episodes, which didn't make anyone's best-of lists.

Yes I do have to get Peacock again because they had the best horror films on that service
