Do you watch horror movies?
More of a thriller, but I would suggest "The Others" with Nicole Kidman.
Another that is kinda similar is "White Noise" (2005).

I'd recommend watching the entire Halloween series, except for:

A show I plan to watch is The Fall of the House of Usher to complement the director's previous works (A Haunting on Hill House, Midnight Mass, etc...)
On the movie side, I loved watching the Fear Street Trilogy (there is apparently more Fear Street films in the works)

My go-to horror THEMED movie is the 2004 Van Helsing film. Starrs Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale, it's got vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein's monster and so much more to put you in the spirit of Halloween. Not really scary, more of a dark fantasy action movie, but it's got a tonne of charm, atmosphere, some impressive visuals for the time, and a soundtrack that slaps way harder than it has any right to.

The Descent
Coralline (pretty creepy for a "kids" movie)
Tucker & Dale vs Evil
Alien
American Werewolf in London
Ginger Snaps
Silver Bullet
Arachnophobia
Dead Alive (one of my favorites)
The Lost Boys
From Dusk Till Dawn
Grabbers
Tremors
Idle Hands
It (old and new)
Leprechaun
Pet Sematary
Phantasm
Poltergeist (the original scared the hell out of me as a kid)
The fly
The Gate
Sorry if I got a little carried away horror is my favorite. Hopefully some of these can help your list next Halloween

So i want some suggestions for good horrors. Be aware that i may not watch them if they seem too jumpscary or overall creepy. Current favorites are some classics like "The Thing", "Evil Dead" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" among many others. And "Sinister" among modern ones but that is almost too scary for me. Recently watched "It Follows" which was way too scary for me and i had to keep lights on a few nights :)
