I've made / upgraded a few CKII mods and honestly I understand why Leviathan is such a buggy mess, Paradox's code is absolutely atrocious. This is what you get when you split up code between 50 files because you need to account for your 50 flags and unit DLCs -_-

The Spiffing Brit and other exploit channels will love this DLC.

Doesn't surprise me a bit.

Slightly related rant:
I'm currently playing an older abandoned Paradox title Cities in Motion 2 and the DLC mess is infuriating. The least they could do for a 8 year old game that was abandoned 7 years ago is to have released a real complete edition for it. But no, the CiM2 collection available at official resellers has only 7 out of 12 DLC. 4 other you can hunt down separately. Good luck with the 12th though because it's not available at all anymore. (It was the pre-purchase bonus and then available only in the in-game store. But that store is now closed.)

The DLC broke the game, that is represented by the review score, eventually paradox will fix it, but most reviews will stay there.
I really like EU4 as my 3k hours gameplay shows, but i usually return for 1 dedicated month after each or after 2-3 DLCs and I am quite happy they have now a subscription service just for 5€ which unlock all DLC on the game for that month as for that dedicated month now I need to pay only 5€ instead of buying the 1-3 DLCs for 20-60€ (or 10-30€ because of sales).

The sub service not showing up on steam store, it is purchasable on the launcher but through steam.

This is impressive. They stacked so many little DLCs on top of their game that it's finally caused the tower to knock over. Maybe Paradox will take it as a lesson learned.
