Rumour - CS:GO would become free to play like Dota 2

badges and coins are OK but the custom skins, weapons and f2p will ruin the game

Right now, paying for a new copy of CS:GO is all what prevents most people from using hacks.
I don't think it'd be wise to change that.

Never gonna review a case again in overwatch if it becomes f2p. There are too many cases right now, imagine the f2p kids with no fear of a ban...

Yeah, make it like TF2... With all those pathetic traders. Seriously? Since when a cosmetic hat is more valuable than Skyrim or Dishonored? Or even Plants vs Zombies? There are 3 categories of TF2 players:

1) The real gamers who enjoy the game and don't spend money for nothing

2) The totally morons who give their money on hats which do nothing (I am never impressed by those hats, they are not gained by playing 1 or 2 years, so there's no reason to get impressed)

3) The pathetic traders who use the totally morons as a way to get money and more games...

One friend of mines is in the 3rd category, and he has gotten more than 50 (good) games because of these hats... And the money he gave for keys were not even 50 Euros as of now... I hope those hats will be banned... They destroy the fun for real gamers...

I played cs go beta, and in that time I knew that one day it will become f2p (and because of that I dont own it). It is simply - this game is not proper sequel in series, this game was made for consoles as alternative for COD. Gameplay, weapons, recoils, movement, all are completely different (and easier) from older ones.
I think that f2p is logical step - there will be three big brothers - tf2, dota2, cs go... And now, we need to wait for proper PC only sequel in series - Counter strike 2.0
