Build is going to be outdated within a month. Ryzen is already available for preorder and releasing in 2 days, there's a Vega event in 40 minutes(though i think a product release is unlikely), and a 1080Ti announcement several hours later.
You've probably picked the worst possible time to build a PC.
Sorry.

Eh. It will still be strong for a while, and I couldn't afford to wait for the release of a lot of those. Truth is I ordered the parts about a month ago and just now got around to finally putting it together cuz of shipping time and doing my homework on the process.

Yeah, he should just throw the entire build in the trash because it's going to be "outdated" in a month. I'm sure he's going to have trouble sleeping at night.

Have a bump!
For the WM part, it never bothered me personally, as long as the temps are acceptable and there are dust filters, couldn't care less what the inside of my computer looks like.

I was too at first, but its a lot easier to get the hang of than you might expect. If you do play mmos, I would at least recommend going to an electronics story and trying them out for yourself. I'm very happy with my log g600, but if I were to shop for one now I would also consider corsairs because two of the four rows of buttons are textured to make them easier to tell apart. I would love it if my logitech had that.

After what felt like an eternity of doing research, waiting for parts, and tightening what felt like a million screws it is finally done. My first true gaming PC setup is now up and running.
While it doesn't look all that pretty and isn't covered in fancy rgb, it has been very functional which is exactly what I wanted for my first build.
These are the parts that went into it in case you were wondering, along with some peripherals I already owned listed on there:
PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9bhRM8
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 PRO 2TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card
Case: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 (Black/Orange) ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit

Keyboard: Corsair K70 LUX RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse Wired Laser Mouse
Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse
Headphones: Sennheiser G4ME ONE Black Headset
Desk is an Arozzi gaming desk and the chair is a DXRacer Classic Series I got during the valentines sale.
Yes that is my bed on the right. My room is the size of a walk in closet :(
And in case you were wondering why the wires are a mess, the cabes I had to work with were really awkward in length. Some were way too short, others were too long and none were just right. I might get some custom cables at some point in the future, so if anyone can tell me whether those are worth it or not I'd love to hear what you have to say.
Well after reading through my crap I bet you're wondering where the celebratory gibs are. After all thats what you're REALLY here for right? Well here they are! http://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/2bc8382e-fd6d-11e6-96a2-fa163ee2f826
Just some bundled indiegala games with basic sgtools rules. Don't expect anything phenomenal, I did just drop about $4.5k into this setup
