Hadean Lands is a text adventure / interactive fiction game made by Andrew Plotkin, who is well-known in the IF (interactive fiction) community. It probably won't appeal to everyone, but those interested in interactive fiction and text parser games might recognize this as one of the more ambitious projects in the genre.

The game has been greelit on Steam, so if you pay over $1 you will get a Steam key once it has been released.

Any opinions from people who have played it? I generally like IF but the concept (based on what's on IGS) doesn't really grab me.

Doesn't it seem strange that they aren't advertising anymore that the games are on Greenlight and that keys will be given if they are greenlit? They used to do that, including a link to the GL page so people could upvote the game. The previous deal also missed any information on Greenlight for the games that were on the BTA tier.
