Sounds like SG will be fine. We don't ask for money even in donation, let alone promise you points in return for it either. There is no secret SG Premium, there's no magic pay to win button. Playblink, on the other hand, may have issues. We'll have to wait and see.

No! I'm special... thats what my mom always tells me :3

Also there's no main account like Gamerminer and Playblink to ban.

I dunno, cg would be a good one. That said, I ducked and covered.

Yes. You have to pay $500 dollars just to know that it exists.
Or that's what they've told me after I paid $500 dollarsbucks.

Yeah, I won a copy of Dead Space just today from there. I hope the site doesn't die :(

Honestly, SG is the only site layout I can tolerate (and that's with SG+). GM and PB always gave me a headache

sGs has a really nice layout too. Everything else always looks so horrible.

That's BS! Maybe there are hidden interests as always, probably there's people behind it that didn't like how things were happening and waited for Holidays to strike.. I don't know, GM worked out for me, not 100% but still good enough to keep sharing games and making someone happy. Hope they sort it out soon, be out of the woods.

if there was ban of gaminer's accounts, actually :D
edit: for conspiracy lovers :D

Wow... This is probably the first time I'll say this...

As I already commented to Jade GM had many issues that Steam would have problems with. These are issues (i.e. account trading/selling, rumoured VPN encouraging and dozens of image copyright violations) that the other sites had nothing to do with. Because of that it's likely safer to assume that this is an isolated strike, rather than part of a series of attacks.

Any proof?

I won on Gameminer more then on SteamGifts. On Gameminer I never spent any money and never created giveaway. Crates in Team Fortress 2 are gamble same as crates in Gameminer. SteamGifts is same excellent site as Gameminer. This is sad news. Valve is becoming bad slowly.

it would be funny if one of the reasons for closing is gambling. Like you said crates in Team F.

Jade's comment is pretty much spot on regarding what may happen to SteamGifts. Unlike GameMiner and PlayBlink, we also don't ask users to send their gifts to us first. SteamGifts is basically just a tool for users to arrange giveaways, and plays absolutely no part in the actual gifting process. SteamGifts also doesn't benefit commercially from the services it provides.
I'm not really aware of the inner issues GameMiner has, but as far as I know it's been a major gifting site for Russian users, especially considering the RU/CIS region restricted games, which are not allowed on SteamGifts and other sites like PlayBlink. I hope a mutual understanding may be reached at the end of all this.

Misleading title. Valve blocked Gameminer's TRADING BOTS accounts.
You may not use Cheats, automation software (bots), mods, hacks, or any other unauthorized third-party software, to modify or automate any Subscription or Marketplace process.

This is the single most saddest thing I've heard this month.Damn, I loved Gameminer.Steam made something bad ... really bad ... unforgivable ...

Wow, that really sucks.
I really really hope you will get it sorted out somehow :(

Taken from GM-Site:
Friends, it sometimes happens that a result of over 1,5 years of hard work with almost no day offs could be killed with just one push of a button.
It seems that Steam doesn't like when someone provides a great service. Maybe they got jealous, or maybe they don't like the fact that because of GameMiner a huge amount of people in RU/CIS territories learned about Steam and began to use a legal digital game distribution service. I don't know.
The fact is: today Steam has locked all our accounts. Gift receiving account, gift sending account, account for all those gifts from crates (where most of our profits went). They locked even my personal account.
At the moment we have stopped accepting gifts. Of course we immediately wrote to every possible addresses, trying to reach Valve people including Gaben. We will wait for their response.
But if this is a witch hunt – sadly GameMiner as you know and love it will cease to exist. Next several days will show us what to expect.
It pains us the most that we've already had so much great plans (and we've already invested our profits in them).
Our huge re-design update should have raised our content and usability to an out-of-reach level. Also, we have planned to help indie devs to promote their games or to help them pass greenlight. All this free of charge.
Also we’ve been working with some key stores so they would give away hot releases for you in exchange for some ad space. And so on.
It will be a pity if all our efforts just disappear.
So what now, PB/Gala and SG is next?
