I haven't tried yet but I think ASF might be one of those "old-school" programs where you can just copy and paste the whole folder to a new system and it will work. Easy peasy lemon squeezy :D
But if that doesn't work simply extract the correct version from github to your new computer. Copy the config folder from your old installation and transfert it to the new one and that should work for sure.

Copy-pasting entire directory will work, since ASF doesn't generate any platform-dependent files, although it doesn't make much sense for backup purposes. It's much better to have a copy of config
directory alone that you can paste into fresh ASF install. Not to mention that the latter will take a few kilobytes at worst.

Thanks for confirming this. This thread was actually relevent for me as well because I've wanted to make a backup for a while because my computer is starting to act up.

In order to move ASF to new location, for example another PC, it's enough to move/copy config directory alone, and that's the recommended way of doing any form of "ASF backups".

Hi!
I am curious. How do I move ArchiSteamFarm to a new computer the easiest way? Is there any easy way or do I need to do it all over again?
