You can only sell 200 items per year on the Steam Market before Valve requires tax/income info from you (since you are earning too much income).

I believe that is incorrect. The correct figure is over $20,000 sold - this is the same policy on Ebay - I'm guessing it's part of the US law

how is it waste of money ? we might make more then we spend first.
after selling 360 keys on paypal u would get 864$ even if u sold for 2.3 u would still get 828$
and if u get 2 foil cards out of about 40 u didn't lost a penny :) not to mention the probability of getting a foil set.
but true it's a waste of time :)
selling 360 keys is hard, it would take too much time for 2.3$.

what if we bought dota 2 or tf2 chest keys for 900$(360 keys) and get 100 cards for them then sell each key for 2.4$ on paypal or market
(market price would be about 2.6$ with taxes and stuff so not practical)
and sell each card for 0.5$ or use them level up your profile and sell backgrounds and stuff.
at lvl 10 u can get foil cards too, which means more money :)
Who would do it ? Would it be sane to do it ?
