PayPal will tell you how much the converted price is before you confirm the transaction. You can cross-reference that with wherever you want.
Paypal's fees are high, yes, but it's not exactly highway robbery. It's more convenient (and as far as I know, cheaper) than buying a marked up Steam gift card from our retailers.

Any Filipino paypal user here? :)
I've been looking to use paypal to buy csgo keys at from paypal traders since it's more expensive to buy them at the CSGO store. Problem is I've heard from a friend that the transaction fees for foreign purchases are pretty hefty.
Can anyone from PH using paypal confirm this? If so do you think it's more practical to use alternative methods to buy keys instead?
