That website is not correct it says I am only part way though level 7 - which is not ture i'm start of level 8 and say games like pushover are worth £0 when they are one star not two star

if you go to your profile under gifts sents you see count and then in ($xxx) if you put your mouse on it, you see your real Contributor Value. Then you can just calculate yourself.

SG works in dollars for everyone, depends a lot what games for giveaways you will buy, it may be done cheaper than 375$ for sure. By unbundled games it will be faster then with bundled.

What you should wonder is "is it worth the money rushing to it"?
Go to settings and uncheck "hide giveaways above my level" and see how many level 7 giveaways there are currently, in public giveaways, and forget about levels.
Just make giveaways and enjoy the ride.

A lot of high levels arrived there by exploiting SG rule set. By doing high level giveaways you're rewarding the best cheaters.

I'll probably never get to level 8 (my level actually keeps going backwards the more I make giveaways lol I just checked and I'm down to 7.80 from 7.92 a few months ago) but trust me when I say it's a relief not thinking about it at all.
And without real bundles and the fact at least half the humble monthly is going to the freebie list retrospectively in the 24 hours following the bundle release because some Twitch guy is buying keys off the grey market to make giveaways to a few hundred people or something, it's getting ridiculously hard to get any CV at all so just forget it exists and enjoy SG.

I see you've been quite meticulous about maintaining ratio, not bad. Just do a few non-crappy GAs occasionally, you'll reach level 7 in no time. I would guess spending a tiny bit say 500rs, will get you awfully close.
But do check that the GAs you make aren't No Value GAs.
