How do i check a random key what game it is?

i got a key from indiegala and tried to redeem it but it said i needed the base game so i can guess it's a DLC but i want to give it away at this point and wonder if i can know what the key is?

1 login steam & go to Activate a Product on Steam Pic.1-2
2 open console F12 and click NETWORK tab Pic.4
3 switch to steam paige & activate steam code Pic.3
4 switch back to console - in NETWORK tab click new "account/ajaxregisterkey" line - and then click RESPONSE tab Pic.5-6
5 click "purchase_receipt_info Object" line - scroll down click "line_items" line and read the Game/DLC name Pic.7

or find a browser script for that :I

I wish I knew this in the past. Useful stuff. I have Augmented Steam by IsThereAnyDeal as add-on that helps me get that sorted too.

install steamdb's extension, and try again and it shall show u what DLC (or game) ur trying to add,.
