Yes, I know that there's another thread that touches upon this, but the list isn't concise and it is a lot of posts to look through. This post will serve as an easy place to update and reference.
WARNING Some Humble Bundle Keys Now Unrevealable After Three Years
Do we have victims of "keys no longer available" case from Humble Bundle here? (not stock)

If you find a clean thread on a list of currently out of stock but can be restocked, let me know. I'll add a link to it along with the other links to similar threads above. That way anyone looking for that info can jump to that thread if they land here first. ;)

Based on their response to my support ticket, I think we can add Destroyer: U-Boat Hunter (March 2024 Choice) and Fashion Police Squad (April 2024 Choice) to this list.

oh sure, thanks for pointing that out.. will surely update once i hear a definitive answer from the support.. they take a while to respond tho!
edit : got a response ''The keys to this product are temporarily exhausted, meaning we have depleted our current stock of keys. We receive all of our keys manually in batches, and once we acquire more keys, the affected download and store pages will be updated. Unfortunately, we cannot provide estimated times for when we anticipate receiving more keys, but we greatly appreciate your patience.''
so they are going to restock these afterall!

Thanks for the thread. I'm wondering if they actually will never restock those or if they are saying that to people who are opening support tickets to get them off their backs. I presume it's the latter but with IGN you never know.
In any case that should spread the word. Maybe when they get tired of refunding people, they'll start stocking their bundles better?

I'm going to assume they won't be restocked, and be pleasantly surprised if they do.
Thanks for responding to a couple of the other posts / questions from others ;)
I hope they do get in the habit of keeping a cache of keys that are pre-allocated per bundle. Of course, HB isn't the one creating the key batches, and would have to rely on the devs / publishers to do so. I also believe there's a limit of keys able to be generated via Steam. I might look into all of this for funsies to see what I can dig up.
I think all customers would feel better if it didn't feel like a shell game at times. (Purchased a bundle, might not receive a key for fulfilment. If fulfilled, no telling when that may happen). I'm sure (at least I hope) there must be valid reasons for all of this, but it doesn't feel great not knowing the how's and whys. Maybe Steam doesn't allow a publisher to generate more keys until a set number or percentage of previous keys were redeemed or invalidated? Perhaps the reason there's such an issue lately is not due to IGN, but the popularity of the bundles and more people sitting on keys? Hard to say.
Also, it would make sense keys wouldn't be available if after a period a studio may go out of business, agreements expire, etc. If HB gives itself a 3 year activation period, then they don't have to worry so much if later down the line a game company can't or won't generate more keys.
Overall, I've had a good experience with HB purchases, not going to knock what they are doing for raising money for charities. Pretty awesome idea. Just feel like there's a layer of fat here that's grown over the whole process and it could go back to being simple and straightforward - likely not going to happen, especially if any of what I'm speculating above is correct.
As for the worst case I've experienced - I've been waiting since just a month after the bundle for my Astral Ascent key (August 2024 Choice). At first I wasn't going to buy the bundle at all, but I decided in the end to purchase it, right at the end of the month. After purchasing it, I wasn't going to activate or play this game. Then, after a couple weeks of doing more research on the game, I figured it was actually worth giving a go. Tried to get a key, met with the out of stock message. Its been months now, with no replenishment notice. Support informs me that these keys will be replenished, but no way of knowing when at this point.

That's a good point. I never thought of that. Still, once they know how many bundles they sold because they have cash in hand, and cached keys are exhausted, they could still restock.

Exactly. Fanatical has made bundles before that had games which went out of stock before the bundle ended. They were transparent about it, which is the very least they can do. That way you can decide if the bundle is still worth the price tag for you or not.
All this retrospective BS out of stock and TOS feels scammy because it is.
And offering store credit solely to the people who create tickets instead of informing everyone that keys are not incoming after all and refunding part of their purchase is even more scammy.
As I said in other thread, it's all well and good to get store credit... in a store that doesn't mind taking your money and not delivering the goods. So you keep spending money you already spent for games they won't give you? Sounds like it works mostly for them.
At this rate, it's probably more reliable to get the keys from their bundles on the grey market, which is sad on so many levels.

Well tbh, it wasn't the idea of the current owners of the site. Back before it was bought by IGN, the site was doing way more for charity. It seems more like a promotional aspect now (and a solid tax write-off I'm sure) than for its own sake.

I'm in the same boat for a few games in various bundles. And when they say keys will be replenished, they basically pour a bucket of keys, send you an email and they're all gone in 20 mn so it's not really like you're sure to get a key when that happens either.

Blackbook from IGN Fan Fest '24, was given credit.
Sherlock Holmes July 2017, all unused keys were revoked since and they cannot get more to generate.

These keys have been confirmed by Humble Bundle support to be exhausted and will not be replenished.
If you are missing out on any of these keys, I suggest contacting support and seeing if they'll give you a credit. Might be worth your time.
Have additional confirmed titles? Comment below and I'll add them to the list.
