And if you didnt understand from previous answer. No, you cant regift it because its against the rules. Say to the winner you already had the game and ask winner to email you so you can send the key to the creator so he can ask for reroll.

No it wasn't a giveaway, my brother sent it to me as he already owned the game (Caveblazers) then he got it in a Humble Bundle. I didn't know what game he sent until I clicked on the email (why doesn't it say in email what game you've been gifted?)
Thanks for the info;)

Then again my brother probably could have told me what the game was instead of just sending it ;D

Okay, to sum up:
If it's your own Humble key, then yes- gifting is just a method by which Humble allows you to transfer support services for a game. By claiming it to your own e-mail and then revealing the key that way, you essentially re-claim it for yourself.
If you're talking SG wins, the correct response for dealing with a game you already own is to post in the giveaway's comments that such is the case, thus allowing the GA creator to reroll the giveaway and get a valid winner for it. You'll need to make sure the GA creator still has access to a valid key that they can provide to the new winner.

Thanks for clearing things up further.
As mentioned above I did not receive in a giveaway but good to know.
I didn't actually know that it was possible to enter giveaways for a game you already own. I thought our steam account would be linked so we could not enter such giveaways anyhow.

Typically it's an issue with DLCs (when obtained from a source other than SG), as the Steam API doesn't properly send ownership information for those, and thus they need to be manually hidden (by clicking the 'eye' icon, which is next to the giveaway title on the giveaway list, or at the top-center of the giveaway on the giveaway page).
It can also occur if you've activated a game which you obtained elsewhere, but haven't yet resynced your Steam account with SG (which you can manually do here).
It used to also be a problem with SG wins as well, but SG now flags out games for a duration after you've won them through SG, though you should still be able to deliberately bypass that (which is useful if the first GA creator was unable to provide the game you won [or if you want to try aiming for a permanent vacation from the site by abusing giveaway entry] ).
As mentioned above I did not receive in a giveaway but good to know.
If it's not giveaway related, you can also simply just message Humble to reset the link. That's something which is more useful for when you accidentally toggled key reveal where you intended to get a gift link, though, since- as I noted- you can just manually get the key still even after toggling gift link (and, due to Humble's recent crackdown on grey market site usage of their keys, I'm not entirely sure they'll reset gift links anymore anyway).

As says in topic I claimed a gift link but find out I already have the game. Can I still gift to someone? Because it's already in library it won't let me show a key to send. If I can resend how do you do it? Any help appreciated thanks;)
