It's weird, I dont really care, as you said, it was free.
But I dont really like to be tagged by Steam Support for a payment problem when it was a free key...

Well, you have a point there. But in this case I literally wouldn't know how to address that issue to Steam support. Say something like "I'm not a scammer and I got this key as a random drop on a forum while it was supposed to be given out on a personal basis via Facebook"? I am not sure that will make the matters much better.
Apparently your case is different so you, indeed, could contact GMG on the matter.

Probably disabling keys from users who grabbed multiple keys.

At least they took a step concerning hoarders I guess

I am unaffected luckily. I got my key from amazon as well.

Maybe people who massively abused it got in trouble.

I broke into a neighbour's house while he was asleep, and stole his Thief code.
It's still showing in my library.

Huh?
Nobody on here can do anything. You could try contacting the person you traded with, but I expect they're fully aware of the situation, and won't have any interest in talking with you about it...
If it was a giftable copy which you acquired via the Steam trading window, you'll get your keys back (although you may have to raise a Support ticket if they haven't been returned to your account automatically).
If you traded for a key, you're out of luck, and the only thing you can do is learn from the mistake...

If you traded for a giftable copy, you can go here to raise a support ticket. Obviously if you traded for a key, you shouldn't waste your time, as all you'll get from Steam Support will be a lecture on the dangers of key trading.
Good luck, and hope you get your stuff back :)

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with CS GO Lounge. Does that mean you traded it in a straight swap (keys for giftable copy of game) via the Steam Trading window?
Also, did you check the user's Steamrep and Steamtrades profiles before trading? It's always worth doing a little research on who you're dealing with before you press that green button :)

I've just received a Steam Support notification telling me my Thief Gold (I got a free key, but I don't remember where, I'm sure it was not from Amazon) has been removed of my library because a problem with the Payment (?)
Anyone else getting this with Thief Gold keys? What should I do?
