This has been bugging me for weeks. Hopefully someone knows the answer so I can finally get it off my mind.
There was this trial game that came preloaded on my old Vista laptop I bought back in '09. It was almost exactly like Torchlight but a bit more childish. You were only able to choose a cat or dog as a pet (no ferret). The questing area was called the "mines" just like Torchlight, and when you died in the mines the resurrection options were the same as well (res in town for no demotion, res in mine cost of gold, res same spot for fame and xp) <--something like that.. The character you play as looked more like a kid than an adult.
Wasn't an amazing game or anything but I used to play it if I had no connection to the internet.
If anyone knows what this game is that would be awesome if you told me.. It's driving me insane!!
