As far as I am aware, it solely depends on the number of entries. To be considered a valid giveaway in which you will receive exp from, it must have at least 5 entries. Also note that if the game you wish to giveaway has been bundled before (Ie, Indiegala, humble bundle, etc) it gives you less exp then if you were to say, give away a game that just came out on Steam.

I will take your post to ask if Invite Only/Whitelist/Group giveaways give the same "xp" as the public ones?

The experience you gain from your giveaways depends upon how nice the people are who enter your giveaway and whether they make smarty-pants comments.

only things that got mentioned already (price, being or not on bundle list and having more than 5 entries). Keep in mind that giving manycopies of the same game will decrease it's value for you. 5 first copies give 100% (or 15% in case of bundle games) then it will decrease 10% per copy.
