you should be able to play because most games are region free on europe but you should not be able to buy on US
my suggestion is to contact steam support to ask for a solution but i doubt that they could give you a non-copy-pasterino-answer

Hey guys,
I've noticed there are some new restrictions when it comes to buying/gifting games on Steam and a lot of people seem to be worried about it. Why do I ask. I live in the EU but in a few months I will be moving to the US for 4+ months. So, should I be worried? Will I be able to play my games over there? Will I be able to use Steam Store there?
Thanks
