I know nothing about Radeon GPUs, coz I only had it once and I hated it(had so much problems with drivers). Now I have GeForce GTX 660 2Gb 1033/6008 and I'm loving it. BF3 on ultra - 60 fps. I didn't check Crysis 3, but Crysis 2 same thing 60 fps on highest settigns. Only thing I'd recomend - get 8 GB of RAM. It won't cost much, but it will be better(imo, I have 8 Gb DDR3 1333)

buy an AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT. Also in cpu intesive games anything above an AMD Raden HD 7850 may cause a cpu bottlneck. However, Battlefield 3 is a gpu intensive game

First, try to reinstall Win7, set it up for less ram usage and cpu usage at start and then try to play those games. This hardware should be able to work normally in BF3 and definitely in CS:GO. Install the newest gpu drivers available for your card (In AMD world, it's a legacy card... whatever).

AS my PC fails to load Bf3 and csgo I decided it's time to upgrade my 4 years old hardware ;)
For the periphere I want to replace my MS sidewinder x6 keyboard (some buttons don't react properly anymore) with a cherry mx (my first mechanical keyboard and I'll miss the illumination) and my fireglider mouse with a zowie fk (albeit its tripple the price I only heard good of it)
Now to the part where I could use some help.
I'm looking at
3072MB PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 PCS+ Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail) gpu
4GB Corsair ValueSelect DDR3-1333 DIMM CL9 Single ram
can anyone confirm that they'll work with my current system? Are they good choices?
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Available OS Memory: 4094MB RAM
bequite 570w
the gpu I'm looking to dumb is a radeon hd 4890
