So I've noticed many great games have finally been coming to PC that I know and love like Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2 and even many of the so called exclusive games like Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed and Tales of Zestiria will be coming to PC as well. So is PC finally a place where all great games will be coming too or is just a dream? Only implying this since I noticed many great games stay on consoles and never come to PC like the newest Halo games or the newest Gears of War games and even my favorite games like the Tales of Series(Symphonia, Vesperia, etc).

Also what game on consoles would you love to see on steam or just be on PC without steam.

Guess they just realized the potential for the PC market. But i hope that devs work harder on the ports and optimization of future games.
I'd love Skate 3 on the PC somehow.

I don't know many people with consoles - I never noticed PC losing respect. The only consoles I ever haid was Gameboy Colour and Sega Gamegear.

Sadly most gamers use consoles despite Computers being better especially since 4k Resolution existed before the current Next Gen systems came out and none of the consoles have even hit 4k while barly hitting 1080p and ususally 30fps.
Example GTA 5 has 60fps and 4k resolution on PC and next gen consoles is 30fps and 1080p.

I rarely played games where that was important. Total War games, Starcrafts, Warcrafts, Heroes of Might and Magic series, Civilization series, Age of Empires, Ceasar series, Anno series - they never needed high settings to be played. Lack of those games on consoles made me completely uninterested in them and I also still emulate some of the games that were on handheld (I played pokemon on PC, now there is a good PSP emulator). Not to mention a lot of classic RPG games.

I've always owned consoles, even while playing games on PC. The ease of borrowing/lending games, playing multiplayer games with people that don't game on PC, and console exclusives have always been my reasons.

Like I said, always has been a PC gamer. Since I don't know if its easier to play on consoles or why is it easier to borrow games on consoles, I cannot relate. Never had much problems with any of those, actually - and I have 5 friends using my steam account.

As long as we keep getting shitty console ports I wouldn't say we have the respect we need. Many game developers are still putting console before us.

I have only Fable on PC, not Anniversary, original one, DRM free. Played Fable 3 a bit, liked it too, very fun game, despite what reviews say. I remember they were a bit negative. Now you mentioned it, wish I had it...

Do not forget allot of games became populair to steam.
And seeying how steam got populair because of those games like counter strike, tf2 and other pc games wich require steam, it automaticly give sucsess to the other games aswell.

This has nothing to do with respect. Publishers like money. If they think they can make worthwhile revenue on a release to a specific platform, then they will do so.

As for exclusives, console manufacturers often pay for exclusives and so long as a publisher feels the benefit for a particular exclusivity deal is worth it, they will continue to make these deals.

I don't think that this depends on "respect". It's all about the money (SING!)

I would see Knack from PS4 for PC because i will not buy a PS4 but would love to play this game

With new gen consoles having such similar architecture to PC, I think we can hope for more console games to come to PC :D

When did PC ever lose respect from the market.. making games exclusive was actually done because they wanted to steer people off the PC and they feared the competition if it was to be released at large. PC has always been the ultimate gaming machine, making games exclusive to consoles doesn't make PC less relevent.

I still see a lot of amazing games getting passed up on the PC market, but many of those could be explained by deals made with publishers that prohibit a port. And you mentioned Halo ... wtf Microsoft ... you make the most popular OS in the US so release Halo on it XD. (Also, I really want to see The Last of Us and Demon's Souls on Steam!)
