Now you tell me? We sold our cluster of those a few months ago.

You must have a quality brand with good magnets.

a

I bought a set of these to manage them under my desk, not the strongest but more than good enough to hold cables in place.

no random cables near top of desk at least.

People still use wires?

You can use wires or you can use batteries. I prefer wires.

Actually they make wireless devices that don't use batteries. I mean of course there are still wires but it was a joke. You can even recharge electric vehicles while driving. Well in some countries at least. I mean if you want to get technical Nikola Tesla came up with WPT and that was about a century ago.

Wire>wireless, no matter how you cut it. Don't get me wrong...lots of wireless stuff in my house (and I use my own router with three separate radios and eight antennas), but anything that can be on the wire is. You eliminate so many networking issues that way.

Of course, if you only have a couple of connected devices and excellent wireless connectivity (and even moreso in a smaller space), then it's a whole lot less of an issue.

At office I have cables leaded in leg of my table which are made with hidden panel for that. Sadly its broken now and doesn't hold attached anymore after our office dog ran under my table to do some upgrades there.

Edit: photo of office dog

My cables aren't managed when it comes from point A to B (computer to desk, or visa versa)
The only way it's "managed" is that I have an "Under Desk Cable Management Organizer Bridge" where I shove any extra cable length into so that there's no cables laying on the floor. Basically, the cables go from say my monitor to the cable bridge, the extra length will lay there, and what's needed will go towards the PC/Power.

I guess you could say it's managed, but it's managed very poorly.
Basically all of the cables are tied together into a loose bundle with some of those wire thingies that cables are tied with when you buy them, and that whole mess runs behind the desk.

if it works, it works. for the longest time i just used your bread bag twist ties. still use them for headphone wires

Yeah, those guys! But the ones that come with cables, those are much more sturdier and usually only black or sometimes white, no vibrant colors like the ones from bread bags.
I legit have never heard anyone call them a specific name with confidence so I've never known their actual name in Spanish, much less in English.

Velcro ties and most of the wiring in the mash net underneath the table. Most of the wires are then hidden. Just have to take care of the ones that go from the net to PC, to screen etc

https://www.ikea.lv/en/products/workspaces/gaming/gaming/utespelare-gaming-desk-art-80507627 - this table btw. surprisingly good quality for the price. I use IKEA electric oones in the office. Also has mash net underneath for cables.

Velcros sent from China. 1 eur for 20 reusable straps.

Very clean. I'm surprised at the small number of cables, though. I could never do that because I probably have over half a dozen USB cables going into the I/O panel, not to mention audio/video (three monitors = 3 cables going to the GPU too). Maybe I should go more wireless where I can. :P

I introduce you to Schrodinger's Cable Management... it's either great or terrible, but you'll only know when you try to change anything.

Probably not? It's just a regular ol' G600. I only really used the side buttons back when I played MMORPGs, otherwise they aren't particularly useful since I suck at memorizing the positions. :D

I don't have a good cable management, juat an old wireway where all cables are in, and to heighten the front wall, I used the lid. At least, I don't see the cables anymore when sitting in front of my PC.^^

Cable management? Nonexistent.

Cables are overlapping all behind and under my desk. Have no issue with that, on the rare occassion i need to remove one, it's suprisingly easy to do so. It might look like an absolute mess, but the cables are not tangled.

If anything it's helpful to have a cluster of cables. If they were to be separate, cats would chew on them. This way it's one uninteresting pile for them.
