Well you had no issue jumping to the conclusion I'm a fool for an opinion I stated I could be wrong about, while simultaneously blacklisting me, so... It wasn't a long shot to assume you painted a picture of me, wouldn't be the first time someone has, and even if you didn't, I'm sure others here have. Almost nobody thinks, questions, or discusses, they act on emotional impulse.
Simple fact is, I can see no reason why one would change a game from free to paid after months, without it being some stunt to get it in more peoples libraries for statistical reasons, and to potentially sell DLC's... It's not a stretch to assume it may be to fit a narrative whilst increasing income, because although not all people in most these movements are bad, many are good well intentioned people... The ones working a financial angle tend to be scummy af.
In the end, it could go either way, narrative, income, w/e. People need to learn though, that not everything directed at them, claiming to be in support of them, or inclusive of them, actually cares about them. Most stuff is self serving, and simply pandering. However, I don't know the creator, or their true intentions, therefor I stated, "Perhaps I'm wrong tho".

Didn't even realize it was the same developer. Played Analogue and Hate Plus back in the day while Ladykiller in a Bind never attracted me.
I also now recall the even earlier "It just ain't your story" (only part of the full title), I didn't really like the conclusions it seemed to make about privacy in the future - especially as concerns over it have actually grown up over the last decade - and on top of that, the students simulating the suicide of one of them was all kinds of fucked up.
