Turned on the PC and got this message, not a very nice way to remove a game.
Would this leave a red flag on my account?

I got the message as well, was just after picking up a game from another site and adding the key to steam, so it spooked me a bit even more. lol.

I think they forgot to put an expiry date into the system, and thus had to "brute force" to remove it from our accounts. So we would not have the game for free when it will be released in a few days. Still a dick move.

I'm sure we are not flagged and it's just a generic message that steam uses for deactivating a product.

They need to take 30 seconds to type something nicer though, like "This product beta ended, the game is removed from your library and you can buy it if you want".

Not some stuff regarding payment issues, that sounds serious and scary.

Warning popped up just now and I wasn't never be so scared, before reading the game title.

I got one too, however I had an extra key from them because of a problem with their facebook app. I redeemed that second key after I had that message and it worked and back in my account
