I must say Tekken 3, i had so much fun with that game. Remember playing the Demo and you could only play the chinese girl and the black hip hopper.

Well, it used to be UFC Tapout, but since it's not around anymore, DOA 6.

Def Jam Fight For NY whole heartedly and purely. Give me a fully functioning re-release or remaster, remake right now EA, right effing now. Love the gameplay, the music, the characters, the smacktalking, the crowd mechanic, weapons, wall grabs, Blazin moves, huge roster, nice ladies, overly black represented which is nice to set apart from the rest.

I like MK for the story & gore and 1 female character, Sheeva <3 but they made her look like a smaller black bald man in 11, as if underutilizing her wasnt bad enough for narative...aswell as censoring & naratively ruining the other females for bullshit reasons...
I like DoA for the ladies, gameplay and ''fantastic story telling''
I like Tekken for the music, cool characters, sweet customization and some girls
I like Street Fighter for Juri (love her, but she gets screwed over by writters, modelers and devs), some hated characters, music and couple other girls.
I like King of Fighters for only a singular character, Momoko. Doing her dirty after not including her ever since her debut and only ever once, in the latest main title, including her as a cameo, ahahahahah, oh SNK....ugh....
I like Skullgirls for only 1 female character (maybe another but thats it) and she's not even in the game. The giant one with the horn/s.
I like Capcom VS Marvel for the Capcom crossovers only.
I like Soul Calibur for the ability to create any character in the world and share them with the world (but only 1 at a time saddly) which has led to some fantastic create-a-souls viewings. Ive seen Thatcher, Bandit, Tachanka from Rainbow Six Siege, Dr.Disrespect, Dexters Mom, etc. in there among many, many, many else lol, love it so much, would love to have the game just for the sake of character creation, all other games needs this.

P.S. you forgot to include Killer Instinct and Virtua Fighter. I like the former for only two female characters (the spider lady and the original amazon woman) and the latter i like for the old sound effects and exxagerated voice acting (havent observed too much of it). Anyways, im guttertrash at fighting games, i only button mash, so i dont play them and dont want them, i just like things about them, thats all.

I'm terrible at fighting games and haven't seriously played one since Marvel vs Capcom on 360 so I guess that series. I think I'd really like BlazBlue. Soul Caliber was pretty fun too.

Not really all that big on fighting games in general though, so the more casual nature of the Super Smash series suits me fine.

Tekken is fine, the mostly consistent long running series
but if i had to choose one game, my vote goes to 3rd Strike (Street Fighter)
Found MK to be very beginner friendly, that should count for something
And finally, Guilty Gear would be my favorite series, if i didnt suck at it

First, I'm bad at fighting games.
I like The King of FIghters series tho, unlike Street Fighter where I can only defend myself with 2 characters (if you count Ryu and Ken as separate characters and not flavors of the same basis) I can actually manage do ok, for casual standards, with a handful and even vary a bit my team without getting recked too much. I also love how detailed and fluid KoF's sprites look in motion, haven't tried the new 3D games yet but they don't look as nice judging from what I've seen.
