Last game that pleasantly surprised you

Today I started playing Enslaved, I knew almost nothing about the game, just checked couple screenshots before getting it from Amazon for two bucks. So far I've finished half chapters and I must say the game is really good. I expected something to play for an hour and then never again. PS: the port is terrible
So I'm wondering, what games have surprised you recently?

Just finished Enslaved (12 hours straight) and it was really good, very interesting story, though it might have been more focused on it though out the whole game, not just last chapter.

Okay Let´s roll:

Edna & Harvey: Harvey New eyes: that was a really unexpected game that buy in a bundle...and i love it. That the charming colors and the childy design don´t foul you, who write this, is a sick little bastard. And what i loved most, is...that the childish atmosphere never broke, this game is never turn in a "adult gorefest", and that for me make this game more awesome, because....is really hard to pull out that.

HammerFigth: This is a game with a weird control, a really shitty way to make a story but...with a REALLY FUN gameplay, really, for a so simple game, this have a lot of complexity, and is really hard. The single player is fun...the only thing that i really want in this game...is a online multiplayer(not a good one, a P2P is enough)...

Cook Serve Delicious. I was actually quite surprised. Its much more challenging and fun than just a 'casual game'. It has alot of depth and strategy ! I love it. I found my ability to divide attention between tasks improve because of this game.
