If i'm not mistaken, the GOTY edition is enough to get 100% of the achievements. There are some DLCs not included:

Thank you for letting me know about those ones. I'd probably like to get the holiday-themed ones, as I've always enjoyed those in other games.:) Plus, the one letting you get to Level 72 is another one I'd probably like to get.:)
Thank you for letting me know about the skins. I'll probably end up avoiding those ones (unless they end up as a giveaways, of course).:)

I never saw those on giveaways and, to be honest, 2 or 3 euros for the skin it's 'bananas'. The game has plenty of skins, some of them ar just different colours, but others are nice. There is also plenty of heads, very different and unique. Headhunters DLCs have also some surreal heads.
IMHO they are not worth it. Headhunters are nice, but only if they are cheap are worth it. Full price for a side mission it's a litlte bit sad :(

There are some dlc not available with the goty and some skins
Price wise if I'm not mistaken I've bought that at 7,8 or 8~ it was 82% discount on the winter sales
Edit: bought at 9,89€ just confirmed

What would the price be in Canadian (or did you already convert what you paid into Canadian funds?)?:)
Thank you for the information.:)

I won't count the glitches, as they are far too rare and can't be counted on (since they are usually region-specific and over far too quickly for me to pounce on).;)

I remember hearing about the Shadows of Mordor: GOTY and Mad Max glitches. I missed out on those, but was able to win the one, and a friend generously gave me the other.:)

I think this will help. Indeed seems 78% has been the maximum discount.

It however doesn't show data before Dec 2015, but it should be sufficient.

Thank you very much!:) I will purchase it later tonight then.:)
Have a wonderful weekend!:)

This is one of the games on Steam where it's better for me walk into a store and buy it. For me in Australia the Steam discount of 78% is almost pointless because I can purchase a retail hard copy (at standard store pricing without any discount) that will activate on Steam for almost the same price.

I don't bother about prices anymore since this website does it for me: http://isthereanydeal.com/
It's OH SO EFFECTIVE and OH SO SIMPLE to use. I'd recommand it to anybody who's waiting for a discount on any game.

Currently, Steam has Borderlands 2 GOTY available at a 78% discount (which would work out to $9.67 Canadian for me). Unfortunately, Steam Sales doesn't have this version available to check for its largest historical discount, so I wanted to know if this was indeed the cheapest its ever been on Steam. I am using Steam Wallet funds, so it doesn't matter to me if it has ever been cheaper on a bundle site, just on Steam.:)
Also, are there any DLCs that aren't available in the GOTY (there are over 40 DLCs for this game!!!) that are required for 100% completion Achievement-wise? It looks like a lot of them are just skins and whatnot, but if any of them are a lot of fun and/or cool, any information about them would be appreciated.
Thank you.
