I'm a loner

I hate most holidays in general. Vday is one of the ones I hate the most. Mainly because its a fake holiday created just to spur on extravagant gifts. If basically tells women that its fine to have high expectations of men and their bank accounts. That they should buy you jewelry, candy, flowers, giant 100 dollar teddybears, and take you out to some expensive as fuck restaurant. God forbid Im busy, you know, supporting your current lifestyle, and forget Vday is coming. Lord does the shit hit the fan.
On the reverse side, it trains men to only be romantic a few times a year and makes them think its enough. "Oh? You want me to dramatically change myself, my habits, and mannerisms? SURE!"

But I may tell you that here in Brazil it is Carnival and the commons tend to lose their valentines in this season of the year.
