If its a gift, just check the region code. If not, don't go first, it wont activate if its not row.

If it's not a gift it won't activate on Steam at all as the game keys activate on Uplay...

Yes, it's safe, just make sure it doesn't have RU+CIS tag on it.

Seeing how RU version has subID 32627 and US/EU has subID 32027 they might add "RU stuff only playable in RU" note right before release.

Unless you talk about Uplay version, then no idea.

talking about Steam version.

and the US got the gold deluxe editon which include the season pass, and same price as normal deluxe edition on my country.
