I don't remember if there was an official statement from Valve about it, but I saw a few of those profiles and I supposed that was the reason they didn't let us keep our stickers while we could still display Saliens and whatnot.
Of course, that happened before all those porn games started flooding Steam, and now you can find people with hentai all over their profile but Valve didn't give us our stickers back :/

Try my Steam Hotkeys add-on which has an Open Queue in Tabs button, allowing you to open each item in the queue in a new Tab, while also adding shortcut keys [W] and [Z] to make it easy to mark each of the items.

Every time I visit "my" Discovery Queue because of an "event", I am always amazed by how little Steam knows about me despite knowing most games I own, most games I play and all the games on my wishlist...

I'm pretty confident at this point that publishers can pay to get their games heavily featured in the discovery queue, otherwise I don't get why it pushes big AAA releases in a certain genre to people that never play games in that particular genre. You basically have to burn through all of that crap before the algorithm finally starts spewing little known gems you wouldn't have found otherwise.
Still, I can't be asked to visit the discovery queue outside of sale season.

You're probably right. Just like you though, I'm not really willing to put in the time. I'd rather rely on recommendations here in threads like the Cozy corner, Upcoming Games and Tuc's.

Doesn't seem to be the case for me. I get a ton of porn games. Like a TON (and I don't own any). Lots of "F2P" MMO types, which I don't play or own either. And whatever they are getting paid to promote this week.

I can't find the animated avatar, avatar frame or mini profile background and one of the profile background. When I click on Point shop it only shows the game profile and the 5 backgrounds that are similar but with different color. Is it like that to anyone else?
