Mine is only 182 GB. Why so many installed? Are they games you still need to play or do you just leave everything installed should you ever have that urge to play a game that you otherwise hardly play. Recently, I've gotten in the habit of capping my list of installed games at 30. That way, if I want to install something new, I have to play and finish one of them. It helps with my backlog.

Datacaps. I'll download the games and then leave them there, because if I delete it, I might not be able to get it again for a few weeks.

That's why I have an external drive for my games. Though my cap isn't tiny, I have several people in my house that use off of the Internet, and one likes downloading videos a lot.
A good portion of my 1TB HDD is full because of my Steam library. lol

I really need to get an external hard drive for my Steam games. I don't like having less than half of my hard drive (1TB) in use, so I just uninstall stuff I haven't played in a while, despite knowing it'll take a couple of hours to DL on my 3mb connection.

Mines at 875GB, and my game folder as a whole is at 1008GB. >.<

700 games, most of them are crap, under 1$ budget

But they do take up space thus limiting the number of games that can be installed.

Or they are like me, stuck with datacaps. I can only grab a few a month. :P

I try to only have a few installed at a time. Otherwise I'll spend more time picking a game to play than playing games.

27/143 and i play 2-3 of them in a -somewhat- regular base.

136 games 29 installed, I am pretty sure there are a few I could uninstall if I absolutely needed to

187 / 65 and growing up, stupid slow internet ._.

Not really. Most of my games are ones that I'm not going to be playing for a while, others I doubt I'll ever play again. So I uninstall them.

It's normal to not have everything installed. Some might be done and deleted, some might be bundle games you activated as a set but are not interested in, etc.
For the record, I have 160 installed out of 735 :)

28 installed, out of 211. Most games on hdd are indie hits like isaac/bittrip/meatboy which i play all the time + some oldies like tropico, duke nukem, etc. I don't bother with hoarding since I can just download everything in an hour at most.

Is it bad that I have 100 games in my Steam Library but only 17 installed?
