Hi, first up, great service. Certainly beats throwing your keys into the wilderness on Twitter with a character missing.
Not sure if its been brought up or even thought about, but does anyone else find navigating the Giveaways annoying because, well, there are so many?
Currently, we have ~20 pages of active giveaways. The only current visual cues are greyed out entries (giveaways you have entered) and a small contributor icon (green if you have passed the criteria, red if not). Any giveaway for a game you own can still be viewed, but not entered.
Surely much more obvious cues would be:
1) Do not show giveaways that cannot be entered because you already have the game in your registered Steam Account. If people still want to access them to comment, make it a toggle that is off by default.
2) Giveaways that are blocked to you because you don't meet the criteria (out of Group, Contribution level too low etc,) should be accented red.
3) Giveaways entered should be accented green, possibly toggled off by default.
4) Giveaways that you don't meet the points criteria for should have an obvious indicator, possibly even just an accent on the required points value.
Given these are basically minor CSS/scripting tweaks, what does everyone think?
