I actually liked the single player portion. It was different, and quite creative, to say the least. Never tried multiplayer, however.

You're never the only person, loads of people enjoyed The Ship, I used to play it quite a lot a few years back.

"...you will receive: A COPY OF THE SHIP: FULL STEAM AHEAD + FREE COPIES OF THE ORIGINAL SHIP GAME (you'll get five copies -- one for you, two for your friends, and two for their friends)."
...not again. ._.

Also, if they reach 1 million, the first the ship will be free for everyone! :D

So i have to pay 16£ to get the game, is that it?

I actually hope it does too. I'd back it if I hadn't blown everything on bundles. lol
I think part of the problem with The Ship 1 was that people likely equated "large quantities of free copies" to "so bad the devs are it giving it away." A shame about that. :/

same here -- i rather like the ship so i hope this gets made, but the kickstarter level that gets you a copy of the game is more than i want to pay.

"The Ship: Full Steam Ahead will be a steampunk sequel to the popular 1920's-themed computer game, The Ship." yeah it's popular but just because hey gave it away, =S 99% of ppl didn't liked or played it.
But really if they giveaway more copies I only will be happy because I can get a lot of points regeneration and ever see single The Ship, because of using the filter =D

I like the idea but to be honest no way I put my money in this

Honestly, even if I felt this had potential to be a good game, I simply wouldn't donate to them. I'd just wait a while until they mercilessly throw the game at everyone and their dog for free instead!

I think the main problem with The Ship is it's pretty much a single game mode.
They should try making other original game modes, and sort of package it as some sort of collection, like Nintendo Land on WiiU
Edit: If anyone played Gmod Towers, I think The Ship belongs in something like that. not as a stand-alone game.

Seems slightly uncharitable to be charging an additional £60 postage to members of the £1,024 donations club who live outside of the UK.
