I've been there long long time ago.

My best friend got cornered and has decided to take the fastest way out. I didn't have a slightest idea, that he got into troubles. I've lived for a few years pretty far away from our hometown, those were the times before mobiles, and in my rented place I didn't even have a stationary phone. To make it even worse a few days earlier, when I was away on some business trip, someone had been looking for me in my rented place, not a common thing for a stranger unknown to my neighbors to show there - shortly after his death I've learned, that at the time he did some work comparatively close to where I lived, so most likely it was him.

Just carry on, carry on, not much more to say on a day like this, but you are also not alone.
