Of all sci-fi I prefer space epics and operas (Hyperion Cantos, Revelation Space cycle), multiple realities/universes and mindscrews (most of Phil Dick's works), and time-travel and associated mishaps. Thank you in advance :)

It doesn't really fall in what you prefer but I can suggest Ender's Game (Or Ender saga). It is really good. :)
