How necessary is it to know French living in Canada ?
Ive had a dream to move to Canada since I started Uni. Im finishing that in about 2 weeks.. Have to look for some kind of work and figure out what to do..
Canada still lingers in my mind.. If not move there I would definitely love to visit

french is only neccesary if you go in the province of Québec. All other province are english

While french isn't necessary for work in other Provinces, it can help a LOT being bi-lingual if you want to get into certain areas of work (government, that sort of thing).
That being said, like baltruck mentioned, it is only really a must in Quebec.

I rarely go to Toronto or Ottawa (I don't like driving in big cities, to be honest), unless it is for a specific reason (going to a Toronto Blue Jays game, for example). We used to visit relatives in Ottawa when they lived there, but they moved a while back!

haha i hate big city too xd But when is for job i have no choice xd I'm living in a little house surronded by a forest a bit close to a 900 peoples town xd
