I think it's still alive, or at least it was until three months ago when I saw the last post on its Reddit about a tutorial on how to play it.
Well, saying it's "alive" is a bit much because, according to what I read in that same post, it seems to have between 50 and 100 players per server or something like that.

The first game is dead since the end of 2018. All official servers are down since and as far as we are aware there are no private servers. Basically were trying to give away keys for a game to which the winner would not get full access to the full playable content anymore. Which technically is against the site's rules.
