how does that work? cause my bro'in'law has 154games lvl19 and still says he needs another $12 worth of games to even join this site.. obviously if its some form of cheating dont even tell me (or at least please do not publicly), but is there just something i am missing or??

According to the FAQ: "we require their account to be valued at $100 or greater. Games that have been accessible through bundles, or games that were once available for free due to promotions or pricing errors are not included in this calculation. We have this requirement in place to prevent users from registering multiple accounts."
So maybe his 154 games are mostly from bundles? $100 doesn't seem too steep.
oh i know all of that, and yes majority are bundle or extreme steam sale worthy of getting tossed in the bundle side of things, and if anything i actually wish it was even more steep.. but i mean how are there so many "key farmers" as you call them when this is in place?
I'm assuming/concluding that there were plenty of accounts created prior to this requirement.
Just like plenty of people artificially enhanced their Level prior to the change in level calculation.
ok awesome ty for replies =) yeah i would have to guess the same, cause you are right i see it all the time, ppl joining in on stuff that only own dota2, csgo, and maybe just a few other "free" or "bundle" games =) i just always thought that was strange since that requirement is in place, but that must just be it.. they should go thru and still make that a retro-active rule and make all those ppl increase their librarys though imo..
I like seeing that it doesn't always have to be games. Actually this looks useful for me, I DO use Unity and would check out what it has to offer :) Thank you very much, hope whoever wins can make good use of this!

I'm more used to Unreal Engine, but it's always good to try new engines. I'm also looking at getting RPG Maker at some point. :3
