I checked setting page. It said I am canceled, went to choice page to take look at buttons... and instead being taken to billing page it just unrevealed key for Pacific drive, so I can't even refund now. So 9€ wasted on 8 games I don't want and 2 from launcher I refuse use...

That is my opinion. If I can play a game and there are no differences on Steam or EA or Ubi or Epic or GOG... I will play it on the cheapest. If I got a game on a bundle I won't ever complain (if there are not functionality diferences on the store).
If I want to play a game, I will buy it on the cheapest store or launcher.
Of course if the game is equal on all platforms. I read sometime ago some developer refused to send an update to the Amazon launcher, as their game was given away there some time prior to the update. So those players didn't get the upgrade. (I don't know if they changed their minds later).
And I know there are valid reasons to prefer Steam over others ( as having a Steam Deck). But even I have a Steam deck (that is not very often used) I won't complain if I can't play one game there.

Not only on gray markets, EA itself is selling Wild Hearts from this month's Choice as a Steam or Origin key on Amazon. Same thing with Jedi Survivor, Veilguard, Split Fiction etc.

It's actually really simple... if there's a legitimate store that sells Steam keys for EA games, they will also end up in key shops. The only legitimate seller I know is Amazon, so the keys might be from there.

Same, although the weird thing for me, I stopped receiving those $8,7,6 promotional emails, I have to manually check for them in the humble coupons page.

Based on your other comment, if you haven't figured it out, the coupons are tied to the humble account and cannot be shared.
If you already have a humble account, check inside the coupons tab and you might possibly have it. If not, $9 IGN thing is the way to go.

That's interesting, I got the $8 coupon email (which I tend to not get, and it sometimes just appears in my coupon section)
But on the email in the small detail text underneath the header it says "Just $49 for 6 months of Choice! Single use coupon. Coupon is redeemable to sign up..." but I can't find the $49 anywhere in the email besides that text.

Don't let those two points stop you from enjoying this otherwise great game though! I play with controller; driving is completely fine. It's mostly item management that feels unintuitive at first, but after a while it's okay.
The save system could be nicer in that it should allow you to return to the main menu after finishing a zone in a more friendly way. The game does save between traversing zones, but basically one should consider trips either a wholesale succes (when you return to the garage upon jumping) or abandoned if you want to quit somewhere in the meantime. It does not entirely feel out of character for the Zone, though.

That save system sounds like it’s not respecting a player’s time. Especially if you have to spend a solid amount of time in each zone. I know for myself more recently, sometimes I might only get a short time to play, I don’t want to waste that time in a game I might lose all my progression for that session. I like car-based games (Mad Max being one of my favourites), and I’d still like to try it some day.

True. The game does allow you to fully pause in menu at any time, which is what I use when life gets in the way :) But that is not ideal. In theory on Steam Deck you could suspend the whole system of course but I hear it is not running great there. I hope the coming suspend-at-any-time feature will work as expected (but backup those existing save games manually I'd say).
