Do you think this is a good low budget build ?

Well I need to get a new PC and as you can tell I'm low on funds. So is this a good build? Or should I replace some things?

seems pretty good for a low-budget PC, tho I would invest some extra 65$ for an i5 + decent air cooler (intels boxed cooling abomiations are just bad imo)

i3 is fine, consider 7790 or 650 ti boost, will be significant better. rest is good!

Nah, that's a fine CPU for gaming.

He'd have a better experience if he invested that $65 in his GPU.

joking... that is a good pc for a low budget... maybe a better cpu if you want good games to run better.

4GB is enough for a budget build. I'd say that motherboard isn't needed for this particular build, but it leaves him with an option to upgrade without having to buy another board.

2x2 would be a bad idea though. Getting 1x4 would allow him to get another 1x4 later(of the same brand/model, of course).

IMHO u don't need a Z77 board. You can't overclock with that CPU. So maybe you can save some money for a better VGA

EDIT: and IMHO (again) the XFX 550 is a really good PSU (it's Seasonic rebranded)

Since its a budget build, you better use AMD FX-6300 for better results aaand you will need a cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO).
Swap the mobo with an AMD one and if you can afford, get 2x4GB sticks.

Then when it comes time to upgrade, he'll need new everything a new opposed to just a CPU and GPU. AMD FX-9370 is comparable to i7 3770k in price and performance in most cases (if this is a gaming rig), the big difference is that's top of the line for AMD while Intel still has a few more CPU above that.

I like to look at the longevity of the parts, not just the best bang for the buck. If the OP has no intentions of upgrading until he rebuilds his entire PC, then ignore my comment!

Far as I know there's nothing above i7 3770k for socket 1155 and never will be, while AMD's next gen will fit AM3+.
