does any body remember Gex

It's funny... I've seen it mentioned a lot, and I have never heard of it, but the character looks VERY familiar.

OHYES. One of my first PC games i played, along with Backyard Soccer and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. Gex 3D: Enter the Gecko was the one I had. It was great fighting the Tiki Brothers and Mooshu Pork.

Yeah, I played one of those games as a kid. I'd like to give that game another go, even though the gameplay or humor hasn't exactly held up well over time.

I remember watching a review for the Sega Saturn version on TV like 15 years ago...

I think I played that on a PlayStation a long time ago. It was interesting, but I wasn't really a gamer at the time and had no idea what I was doing.

I remember it. It was one of the greatest games of my childhood, alongside Road Rash and Lords of the Realm II.

I played a GEX game when I was young but the part in the manor (I think the game was "GEX 3D : enter the gecko") was absolutly terrifying and I couldn't play because I was too scared.
I wasn't a brave kid.

The mario 64/ banjo kazooie style of beating several objectives scattered across a level was okay but the game had some problems.

It was okay but not great.

It was fun, when I played it on PS1.

Gex 64 for N64 and Gex: Enter the Gecko for Gameboy Color were awesome. Those were the only two I ever played

How could I not remember this? I rented it from Blockbuster Video on the N64 as a kid and loved it! Now a more logical question in my opinion, is "Does anybody remember Blockbuster?"

I've known Gex for years, I had a huge collection of Nintendo Power magazines as a kid and seen so many ads in the magazines for the Gex series. I had never bought, touched or played any of the games unfortunately but the gameplay is pretty nice.
