Origin Access : Thoughts

What is "Origin"?

Well it's great idea, people are using and and i'm not suprised since there are good games for extremely low prices. It's like all those old school places where you could rent games, or movies for some time, play and give it back. Really only people with IQ equal to pair of sandals can hate it. Nobody is forcing nobody to using it, and it's great especially for those users that aren't interested in keeping large library of games but instead just playing them once in a while :) . Still waiting for Steam Access...

It's great value, definitely, but I have enough games on Steam to keep me busy. To all other people though, especially people that are new to gaming, it sure it worth the 3.99€/month. 16 games aren't going to keep people subscribed for long though, so they should keep looking for more games to add.

I mean, in theory it's great, but in practice the selection is really not enough to encourage long term subscription. I might try it out when I have more free time, but right now I can't see myself signing up and staying for longer than it takes to get bored with the selection. None of the MP games really entice me, and I'm not super enthusiastic about the rest of the selection as I either own them or have no interest.

I think it would have been better if it was like PlayStation Plus where you get to keep the games forever (as long as you are a Plus member) rather than changing some games every month.
Sometimes you may not have the time to play (like you :P) or you don't feel like playing those games but when you do feel like playing, it's gone!

Or do I remember Origin Access wrong?

Not a bad selection of games for 5$ at all. A nice chunk of them can devour hours too.

I think it's really good when it have the game you wish to play, once, ignoring DLC. (Like DA:I, you can play in multiplayer using free version after all) May not worth for multiplayer-focused game or high replayability game (PvZ Garden Warfare, Battlefield, etc)
Though no games in Access are interested my right now, but then again, 1-month subscription for 10% discount is already worth the price. (It stacked with another discount)

Would be great if Access library is larger and contains all DLC of the game.
