I'm not a professional but I would recommend Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 because it works well, it has the features you want, and it's ridiculously easy to learn to use.

Thnx for d recommendations.. im going to check out adobe premiere since it seems to be recommended alot...
What u guys think pf cyberlink powerdirector 13??? Other video editing software reviews have it highly recommended and even recommended over adobe premiere.... Anyone uses cyberlink or or uses both adobe and cyberlink???

Go with Premiere, you won't be disappointed. You not only have Adobe's kickass support backing you up, but almost endless help from a huge community. Cyberlink Powerdirector is a smaller product/community, Premiere is the big leagues.
Edit: I've been using Premiere for over nine years

I didn't like Adobe Premier (CC 2014 version) that much. It just felt awkward navigating through everything and it unfortunately crashed very often on Windows 8.1. I ended up using Corel VideoStudio Pro X6, but it sort of lacked some more advanced features (mainly good templates) and that's when I made the switch to Sony Vegas Pro 13. I still use Vega Pro 13 and I like it quite a bit.
My advice, check out all three, download the trials and play with some basic editing effects in the software to see which you like the most. I'd rate Corel VideoStudio as being the most user-friendly and Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premier as being the most professional editors, however they have a small learning curve.
Hope you choose what you like. :D

so i think it's time for me to join the bandwagon on creating youtube letsplay videos now that i got the decent gaming rig, external hd, and vid recording software i needed... only thing i still don't have much knowledge and don't have access to is a video editing software..
I want to ask you guys what you think is a good video editing software out there for uploading to youtube??
price doesn't matter, only usability & features matters for me.. i already recorded the gameplay videos i wanted.. i only needed to cut certain parts and add audio commentary to it, so that feature is also important for me..
any help will be greatly appreciated..
