it has nothing to do that you are a newbie or something like that, but so many people seem to panic immediately that things doesn't work as they think they should and instead of inform themselves they must make a thread like this. you can always read the FAQ and guidelines or look throgh the forums existing discussions.

Don't take it personally, sometimes discussion board is flooded with dumb questions which could be avoided if TS had read the FAQ. Hence, the disapproval of other members ;)

It is slightly more complex as it encourages people to give different and more expensive gifts. One can now give bundle games and still work up the levels but it takes a bit more that way.
