Neat idea for a tool. I don't necessarily need it though, and I'd rather wait a bit and see some "reviews" about it first. :P

Really handy tool if your in alot of groups.

Seems like you've done a great job. Will see for myself once the program is available to download through Github. For now, have a whitelist.

Requires VC++ 2015 Redistributable, probably x86 version

Nice tool. I've had group event notifications minimize a game I was in before, which is super annoying and fucking retarded.

Nice but even better if you could customize to only show notfications of certain groups (10%) and disable others (90%).
Then you deserve a medal.

funny how valve "couldn't" do this in 6 years since the first request to remove notifications, and it's always someone else that fix their crap.

i have been looking for something like this and it seems to work so thank you very much for that.

I can't install it.

I assume they will still be able to steal focus and tab you out of things etc?

This was useful, but I found out (late) that the Steam client allows suppressing notifications: Settings -> Friends -> For group events and announcements -> uncheck Display a notification
