Problem with reading English text

Hey!
I have a text that is very difficult for me to read. I can only read some of them, but the rest is hard for me to understand what it is. I wonder if anyone can know what is under red text.
I appreciate your help.

This is made harder because the writing/grammar is pretty old-fashioned.

  • "considered seriously before"
  • "same time"
  • "progressing" ?
  • "back"
  • "+ test"
  • "This saved a bit of time"
  • "'clay freeze'" ?
  • "case" / "car" ???
  • "components before"
  • "possible" ?
  • "dimensions approximately"
  • "procedure"

I think it's "this saved a lot of time" (rather than "a bit of time").

And after "clay freeze" I believe it says

in case of

And I agree about "possible" on the 3rd line from the bottom of the page.
