The PC version of Ticket to Ride used to be great, but the constant updates just made the performance and stability worse and worse. On top of that, the AI is now pretty much unbeatable for solo players. Oh, also, the game just dropped Linux support after a while, so Linux players cannot even play online any more, just use an old build to play solo.

Well there are those disposable emails, so you could have signed up more then two times as well. Didn't want to mention it in the first place since some people would stockpile the keys :)

I play Ticket several times a week with 3 AI opponents and probably only lose 5% of the time. It also runs fine, though sometimes has some sound issues (no train sounds)
I did think one of the older versions were better though.

I play it regularly on PC, didn't notice any performance or stability issues, and beat the AI most of the time. The only issue I've encountered is that sometimes the train sound cuts out or only plays some of the time.

The offer has been up for several hours.
I decided not to share it when I saw it was limited and someone made a 10 key giveaway for one of the games. So I decided to give people from the con a chance to get and play them, rather than people who'd abuse it to get 10+ copies of the games.

I saw some of the GAs before going to bed last night and when i woke up saw fb post about that offer. With posts about it on Reddit it would be matter of hours until it is over, so wanted to give some chance to SG members :)
On the other side i didn't want to mention myself that you could get multiple copies, so to prevent some stockpiling at least. :D

Meh, that's the game I was hoping to get :( I saw it on Geek & Sundry's Tabletop (+ Ticket to Ride Europe) and it looked like a lot of fun. Plus it's from the same company that made Small World.

Well I already finished the registration so I might as well go through with it.

Edit: Oh :D So that's Mysterium. Well that looks fun too.

Yeah I saw it a couple of years ago but never got around to buying it (it's not my kind of games but I would love to try it out) I just picked Mysterium because I didn't own that one either. Oh well.

I haven't played Ticket to Ride yet neither but I can confirm that Small World is a ton of fun with lots of replayability.
Turned me into a fan of Days of Wonder boardgames :)

I like board games but i don't have anyone to play with (that sounds dramatic XD, I mean that no one wants to play those at least people I know). A random generous stranger gifted me Ticket to Ride so I managed to get a copy, I'll try it out soon!

But I know what you mean ;) Setting up a boardgame evening always takes a bit more effort than a normal Get-together. Plus not everybody is into boardgames. I think I bought Small World like 2 years ago and so far we only managed to play 3 times.
