Need opinion on Starpoint Gemini 2

Greetings. I saw that Starpoint Gemini 2 is on sale now with 80% off. I was thinking of buying the Gold Pack version. I'm not really a huge fan of space-sims or anything related to space battles. But i like games in which you can make trades, choose your own playstyle (mercenary, pirate, trader, etc).

I would love to hear you personal experience about this game. At this price it worth buying but i don't want it to gather dust. As a reference, i last played Rebel Galaxy and i liked it to some point when it became repetitive, there was a lack of upgrades and the trading system was a mess.

So, looking forward to your opinion.

$8 is "alot" for a type of game that you are not a huge fan, its better to just get a deal on something that you may enjoy.
Unless you like playing the collecting game.

It's kind of slow, and it's an RPG. It all depends on what you like - if you like the type of games SG2 belongs to, then by all means, it's an excellent purchase, it does what it does really well. However, it's a pretty niche type of games.
